Are you afraid?
Do you feel like you have to leave everything if you decide to pursue your calling?
It is a frightening thought indeed.
It feels like jumping off a cliff without knowing whether the parachute will open or not.
You might even think pursuing art is just a hobby, a child’s game.
And pursuing a hobby is not what serious people do. Art simply doesn’t feel like a real job or career. Or at least you haven’t tried seriously to think of it as such.
That’s because it always seemed easy, natural and fun. You’ve done it since you were little.
It’s what you do when you’re not “working”.
What if I tell you that all of these thoughts and feelings are signs that you are special?
YOU HAVE A SPECIAL POWER THAT IS WAITING TO BE ACCEPTED
You can feel it within you.
When you were younger it was natural for you to indulge in your special ability.
That’s what children do. They live true to their desires, their motivations, their inner callings, untainted by the complicating and reasoning thoughts of the mind…
They live true to themselves, freely expressing whatever life springs out of their emotions and imaginations.
But then you grow up.
You enter society and “reality” hits you and exposes all your weaknesses.
You clothe your inner child as a hobby. For you have more urgent tasks to do.
Your never-ending to-do list keeps piling up and piling up because you’re afraid you’ll be left behind the society.
You don’t have time to indulge in your hobby.
THE INNER CHILD NEVER DIES
Years pass and you’ve continued to keep up with the rest, albeit with great difficulty and forced effort.
You enter into a cycle of forced sprints and burn-outs. You try every means possible to find a “work-life balance”, but you never find it.
Sometimes, you even wonder where the A-players are getting their seemingly never-ending source of energy.
Every time you burn-out, you seek solace in solitude and return to being the child.
You indulge your natural interests and curiosities.
It’s funny how you can easily enter flow and create/read/work for hours on end when you’re doing your thing.
After you replenish your energy and return to your wits, you put aside your hobby and return to being serious and doing what “needs to get done”.
Even though you put aside this inner child many times over, it never leaves you.
It’s here and it’s waiting for you to accept it.
It’s waiting for you to accept your true calling. Your true power.
YOU HAVE GREAT POWER WITHIN YOURSELF
Do you feel like you’ve tried everything to maximize your joy, your energy and your potential but it still doesn’t feel right? Like this is still not it.
You still haven’t found the true alignment. Alignment of your purpose, your vision, your work-life, your strengths and your passion.
If you feel it, then you’ve come to the right place.
I’m here to tell you that you’re missing only one puzzle piece.
This puzzle piece has been waiting all along for you to grow up and accept the inner child within.
I’m sure you know what the missing piece is by now.
Your imagination. Your way of expression. Your natural curiosities and strengths. Your vision for the world. Your need to create and shape the reality.
This is your true power.
And it has been residing within you all this time.
It has been waiting for you to grow up to gain the power of courage and wisdom to become a child once again because you now know that this is where your true power resides.
This is your moment.
This is where your life truly begins.
This is where you take on the quest to create and realize your vision to impact the world and live a life of purpose.
This is the moment where you must fully accept the power that is boiling within you. The power that has been waiting all along to be unleashed into the world.
THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR POWERS
To maximize joy, energy and potential, you need to reach true alignment.
You can only reach this alignment when you fully accept this power and let it assimilate throughout your complete being inside and out.
You need to align your passion with your vision and purpose.
The excitement that sprouts from this alignment will provide you with never-ending energy and motivation to tackle the many hurdles that await. This is the secret to effortless work.
You need this if you truly want to be happy. It’s either this or never-ending regret.
And the world needs this too.
The world needs obsessively passionate and imaginative people like you to create.
Your art and creations provide people with what they need.
Art can provide imagination.
Art can provide meaning.
Art can provide empathy.
Art can provide purpose.
Art can provide hope.
And it’s not just art, but creations of any kind.
Life is a cycle of stagnation and creation. It’s in this balance that society and the world can flourish.
Anything new you bring to the world helps maintain this cycle.
So go create.
Create the life that you desire.
Create the life you are proud of.
Create the life of meaning and purpose.
Create the life that truly impacts others.
Create something beautiful.
